Due to recent pressures on the education sector, our client school is looking for an additional team member in their support department to ensure all pupils have the guidance they require.

  • Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
  • Required to start after October half term break.
  • Secondary school based in Bolton.
  • Earn up to £350 per week!
  • Must have transferrable experience to work with children and young people.

Without consistent learning and development over the past few months, some pupils have fallen behind and are struggling to adjust to being back in school.

The incoming Learning Support Assistant will be supporting pupils within the classroom in small groups and occasionally on a 1:1 basis to ensure they stay on task. All resources will be provided by the class teacher and it will be your responsibility to ensure they complete all tasks and have the correct support required.

It will be important to monitor progress and report this back to senior members of staff. Some pupils may have additional learning needs or SEN therefore any experience

The school has been recently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. It has around 800 pupils on roll and is located close by to Bolton and the M66 motorway meaning it is accessible via car and public transport from surrounding areas such as Farnworth, Salford and Bury.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
