Learning Support Assistant needed in Stretford

Teaching Personnel are working with a Secondary School based in the heart of Stretford who are specifically looking to add a Learning Support Assistant to their team after the May half term holiday until the end of the academic year. Though this is a temporary position, a successful applicant who excels in the school environment may be given the opportunity to return to the school after the summer holiday on a permanent basis.

The school is looking to hire an organised and confident Learning Support Assistant with a good theoretical background and transferrable skills, therefore previous experience working in a school or with children would be extremely beneficial, however it is not essential.

In this role applicants will be expected to have clear communication skills and be able to show strong capabilities of relationship building with students. Additionally, applicants will be expected to provide 1:1 tutor support and host interventions with smaller groups of students who need further support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
