This opportunity is ideal for applicants who have previous experience supporting students with Mathematics.

  • Full-time Maths Intervention role.
  • Required from January 2022.
  • Paid in line with previous experience – applications are being considered from teachers and graduates.
  • Secondary school based in North Manchester.

Our client secondary school has noticed several pupils are not achieving their target grades within Maths and therefore, require additional support.


  • Mainly be supporting pupils in Year 11 who are failing to meet their expected GCSE grades.
  • Expected to work alongside other members of staff within the Maths department to develop and implement specific interventions for individual pupils.
  • Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and occasionally within small groups. The school will provide all relevant resources and intervention timetable.

The incoming candidate must have previous experience supporting young people with Maths or come from a Maths background. Any direct intervention experience is desirable however, not essential. Both fully qualified teachers, support staff and graduates are being considered for this role.

Located in North Manchester, the school is easily accessible via the M60 and A62 from surrounding areas such as Middleton, Oldham and Rochdale. The school is also accessible via several public transport links from areas surrounding Greater Manchester for candidates who do not drive.
