In January 2020, the school was graded good in all four categories by Ofsted and are seeking a passionate and innovative Mathematics teacher to join a talented and committed team, in a well-resourced department.

 

Required for April / Sept 2021, you will be an enthusiastic, determined and forward-thinking person. The Mathematics team have improved outcomes year on year, are consistently at or above national average, and always strive to do better. They are a fun team, who work closely together in a well-resourced area.

The school are looking for a consistently good - outstanding teacher with a real passion for your subject, you will have a proven track record of teaching high quality lessons across the ability range for 11-16 year old children. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality maths curriculum and further develop resource and extra-curricular activities. The aim, quite simply, is to make sure that every child, in every lesson, every day is achieving excellence.

The School is an 11-16 school and has approximately 950 pupils on roll. We are looking to appoint a teacher who will:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a probationary period in which you will transition from a temporary to permanent contract.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
