A high-achieving and successful Secondary school in Lancaster are seeking a Maths Teacher to join their school on a full-time basis. The successful Maths Teacher will join a skillful and resourceful school team, who dedicated their time and resources to ensuring all students have the opportunity to excel. You will be able to plan and prepare interactive and engaging lessons, ensuring students are using this time thoroughly to excel, and you will ensure all students are inclusive of classroom activity.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be innovative and imaginative
  • Be able to progress already hard-working and high ambitious students
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Be able to easily identify the individual needs of students, and use this to ensure all students of different learning abilities have the opportunity to develop
  • Be trustworthy and able to develop great relationships with the students, teachers and parents/carers

The ideal candidate will be available from September 2021 Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm, during term time. You will need to be aware of Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning and Equal Opportunities policies. You will also need to have a Child Workforce DBS (or be willing to apply for one), two references and the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
