Due to a recent internal promotion, there is an exciting opportunity to join a secondary school, teaching Maths up to GCSE level.

  • Full time Maths teacher.
  • Required ASAP.
  • Fixed term contract until the end of the academic year in the first instance (July 2022).
  • Teaching Maths to both KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Average-sized, Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school near the centre of Manchester.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£25,714 - £41,604).

Our partner secondary school is in Manchester, ideally situated close to the city centre making it easily accessible via public transport and the M60 motorway. The current Headteacher has been involved in strong improvements across the school in recent years, shown by their most recent Ofsted inspection where they received a ‘Good’ rating.

Prospective candidates to this role should have experience of planning and delivering highly engaging Maths lessons to a range of learners, as well as being passionate about closing the gap between disadvantaged students and their peers.

Ideal candidates will also have experience of supporting students with additional needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN). Applicants to this role should hold Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) in the UK or relevant teaching qualifications alongside experience teaching Maths up to GCSE Level.
