What options do I have as an NQT working as a supply teacher?
Can I complete my induction year working as a Supply Teacher?
Yes. Providing you complete up to a term in a temporary contract, this can count towards your NQT induction year sign off. You can complete your NQT induction year in 3 different schools which isn’t a bad route to take. It shows any future employers that you are adaptable and will have gained valuable experience.
Is there opportunity of securing a permanent role through Teaching Personnel?
Yes. We provide our schools with a permanent recruitment service in addition to supply. You will hear of the latest opportunities and if permanent is what you are looking for, we will actively work on your behalf using our network of school contacts to discuss you skills and experience and secure you interviews. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
