Teaching Personnel is pleased to announce that we’ve been successfully accepted as a Tuition Partner for the National Tutoring Programme (NTP). The NTP aims to make high-quality tutoring available to schools to reduce the impact that closures and lockdowns have had on children’s education over the pandemic. We need your help to get pupils affected by the pandemic back on track!

You’ll be working as a Qualified Tutor in schools and online across West Yorkshire. We are looking for multiple Tutors who have experience in delivering targeted interventions across KS1 and 2. You will be working with multiple groups ranging from 1:1 to 1:3. Interventions will be mainly Literacy and Numeracy.

Teaching Personnel is proud to work alongside the Department for Education and the NTP to bring flexible high- quality by dedicated, qualified and experience teachers to pupils whose education has been most impacted by the pandemic.

A successful candidate will possess:

  • QTS in a relevant subject or Degree in a related subject area.
  • Recent experience in teaching and/or tutoring.
  • Good knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Be able to tutor face to face and/or online
  • The ability to plan, deliver and provide feedback to children and schools.
  • Good time management to fully utilise the time with children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
