An SEN school in Poulton-Le-Flyde are looking for two part-time teachers to start as soon as possible. The school caters for KS3 and KS4 pupils with SEMH, who can display challenging behaviour. The school provides each pupil with a bespoke program of study, support and intervention that meets their learning, pastoral and social needs alongside future destinations and career aspirations. They also work closely with previous educational providers, families and supporting agencies to provide the very best level of support for each pupil. The classes are smaller than average with generally up to 6 pupils per class.

Role 1

An English Teacher, is required each week on a Tuesday and Wednesday until December 2021. You would be covering an extended maternity leave within school. Within the role you would be teaching Year 10 and Year 11 pupils.

Role 2

An Art and Design Teacher, is required each week on a Wednesday and Thursday until the end of October half term (Friday 22nd October). This is covering a temporary gap of staffing within school and you would be teaching Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils.

The Senior Leadership Team would be interested in meeting suitable candidates, ideally this week with a view to starting the w/c 4th October. Please get in touch if you are interested in either roles!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
