Teaching Personnel has been approached by a School in Burnley for a role which will start after February half term and continue until the end of the academic year. The school is in need of a full-time Teaching Assistant who is ambitious, empathetic and understanding.
The school caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities and generic learning difficulties. Many of the students who attend the sschool have PMLD and Autism. The majority of their students possess unique talents and ability which the school attempts to enhance and nurture. The school is extremely passionate about giving their students a meaningful learning experience by encouraging engagement and by a clear focus on lifelong learning.
A candidate with experience within an educational setting would be ideal for this role. Experience specifically with SEN is ideal but not essential.
The working hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
Rate of pay will be dependent on experience and will start from £10 p/h.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
