Post 16 Autism Teaching Assistant

Location Ealing (5 minute walk from Acton Central)

Are you someone with experience in special needs education? Looking for a new challenge amongst a diverse team?

A specialist Autistic school in West London are currently seeking a dynamic and confident teaching assistant to support students with complex needs with the majority on the autistic spectrum.

Although it would be preferred, the school in West London aren't necessarily looking for someone who has had years of experience working in a classroom with ASC students. Someone who understands the needs and is comfortable working and supporting students with ASC is what they value the most.

This role will be long-term with a view to become permanent (if you prefer) and will commence after an interview process with school.

Your main duties will be;

•Support students with their work
•Manage/develop students behaviour
•Supervising classroom activities
•Report back to teachers about students work

The school has fantastic resources for creative subjects and hosts a high spec music facility, every other term they put on a performance for families and carers to see the work they do.

If this role is of interest to you, please feel free to contact John at Protocol Education on 0203 219 7740 for further information. Alternatively, please send an updated CV to john.sayell@protocol-education.com
