Teaching Personnel are looking for newly qualified and fully qualified teachersto support a Plymouth Primary school located in a deprived area of the city. Work could start as early as September and as late as October half term. 

This mainstream Primary school supports between 170 - 190 pupils each academic year and has been recently rated 'Good' once again by Ofsted. 

You could be required to support small groups of children or teach a full class bubble, teaching them daily Maths and/or English to reduce the difference in attainment and make increased progress with their core subjects. You will be there to help motivate the children remove the barriers from previous underachievement.

What's required?

  • PGCE or a Degree with QTS.
  • Strong Primary school experience.
  • Experience with any of the following; Pinny time, Read Write Inc Phonics, PENPALS Handwriting scheme, Accelerated Reader, Times Table Rock stars.
  • Child Workforce Enhanced DBS (or be willing to purchase one through Teaching Personnel)
