Are you a specialist in Religious Education or  PSHE, looking to work across a range of schools in th Newcastle region  Do you have a passion for providing high quality education and ensuring the best possible outcomes for students? Are you adaptable and enjoy an ‘every-day is different’ approach to education?

Teaching Personnel are seeking talented and child-centred teachers of RE, Philosophy and PSHE from September. Previous experience is desirable however newly qualified teachers are also being accepted for this role. The role would provide a specialist RE or PHSE teacher with the opportunity to expand their subject knowledge and gain valuable experience in a range of schools across the Newcastle area. The following position offers temporary, part-time and full-time employment. 

Suitable candidates will:

• Have an optimistic approach, be enthusiastic and above all hold a strong commitment to young people and their learning.

• QTS and a PGCE or similar in secondary RE or PHSE.

• Be resilient and have good behaviour management skills within the classroom.

• Have experience teaching RE/PHSE across KS3 and KS4.

• Be able to maintain good relationships with staff, students, and parents.

• Have high standards for young people in education.

• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
