Teaching personnel are recruiting a psychology graduate to work in the Sale area of south Manchester to work with selected pupils in a classroom environment. The role will be starting in Sepember 2022 and will last up until the end of the academic year with the opportunity this could be made permanent at the end of the term should the initial placement be a success.

The successful graduate will need to work with pupils who have special educational needs requirements. Sitting with these pupils in lessons and ensuring they are getting on with academics is vital to the role. The teaching assistant will be required to follow the main class lead and relay the content to the pupil consolidating their knowledge.

The role

  • Role as a Teaching assistant based in south Manchester.
  • £70.00 per day minimum pay.
  • Payments are made a week in arrears, with pay working on a PAYE basis.

To commute to the school there is access to Metrolink services which connects within five minutes walking distance of the school gates. Alternatively, the school does have on site parking which is free to use by staff. There is also junctions of the M60 motorway very close meaning travelling to the city centre and other areas of the city is accessible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
