Looking for a new and exciting school for September 2020?
Our client school in Fareham are looking for a suitably qualified Religious Studies Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2020. The position is to teach RS at KS3 and 4 in a supportive and thriving humanities department of 4 staff members. You will be fully supported with plenty of opportunity for career progression. Applicants are welcome from Newly Qualified Teachers to Experienced Teachers. The school is over-subscribed serving Fareham and the surrounding areas. The school was inspected by Ofsted and judged to be “good” in it's most recent inspection, including behaviour of students and leadership and management and has 'Outstanding' features.
The school currently deliver KS3 and KS4 RS covering the four major religion groups. They also deliver curricular activity around ethics and social constructs to ensure pupils gain knowledge and insight on the world around them and can confidently engage in topical and appropriate conversations with their wider community.

To comply with the academy’s Health and Safety policy and undertake risk assessments as in line with the Government’s announcement, the academy is closed until further notice. However, during this period it is our intention to continue with critical recruitment for key positions starting in September 2020. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
