A  a mixed secondary school for students aged 11-16 in Fareham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Studies teacher to join their vibrant and supportive team. The school emphasises values such as resilience, aspiration, and kindness, aiming to unlock potential and create opportunities for all its students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across all key stages in line with the curriculum, fostering a love for Religious Studies in students.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership in the classroom, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to promote students’ academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices, share resources, and enhance the department’s provision.
  • Build and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Actively participate in curriculum development and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Studies across all key stages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to enhance the learning experience for students.
