CHILDCARE SUPPORT ASSISTANT
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the residential unit where students that have been identified as requiring additional support, resides during out-of-school hours. The duties will involve working with other students in the residential unit. In addition, if term-time only, the post holder will be required to commit to an additional two weeks respite care work during the school holidays for which additional payment will be made.
The students residing at the unit all have ASD and associated learning difficulties and challenging behaviour
No formal qualifications needed but experience of care work is necessary for this post.
