A new Primary School in Lichfield are urgently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their busy administrative team.
Smile Education are proud to support a Primary School in WS13 in their search for a part-time Admin Assistant to support their busy Admin team on an ad-hoc basis.
About the role:
- You will be providing support to the Admin team, working on a part-time, temporary basis until the end of the academic year.
- The working hours are between 8:30am-4:30pm, working Monday-Friday (when required).
- Salary: £11-£13 p/h, depending on experience.
- Start date: ASAP.
You will have previous experience working in an administrative role, and will have a professional manner. Although previous experience within a school would be preferred, it isn’t a necessary requirement as you will be supported by the School’s Office Manager.
Your responsibilities:
- Greeting pupils, parents, and other visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email queries, handling these appropriately.
- Communicate with parents regarding pupil absence.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other staff.
- Drafting/sending letters.
- Managing documents and input data.
