A Primary School in Small Heath are urgently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support their busy administrative team.  
 

Smile Education are proud to support a Primary School in B10 in their search for a full-time Admin Assistant to support their busy Admin team.
 

About the role:

  • You will be providing support to the Admin team, working on a full-time, temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.
  • Permanent start date: September 2023 (if successful)
  • The working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, working Monday-Friday.
  • Salary: £10-£13 p/h.
  • Start date: ASAP.
 

You will have previous experience working in an administrative role, and will preferably have experience using SIMS.

 
Your responsibilities:
  • Greeting pupils, parents, and other visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email queries, handling these appropriately.
  • Communicate with parents regarding pupil absence.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other staff.
  • Drafting/sending letters.
  • Managing documents and input data.
