Smile Education are proud to support a Primary School in Nechells in their search for a Caretaker/Site Manager.

 
About the role:

  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Initially a temporary role, with the potential to become permanent.
  • Full-time position, working Monday-Friday, with the working hours 8am-5pm.
  • Pay rate: £11-£14 per hour.  
 

Your responsibilities:
  • Opening up and locking up the school site.
  • Supervising cleaning staff.
  • Stock check and ordering supplies.
  • Fire alarm testing.
  • General site maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs.
  • Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.
 
You will be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site, ensuring the safety of all pupils, staff, and visitors.
