The ideal candidate will be a passionate NQT Teacher who has the commitment to the consistent improvement of their own teaching standards. You will have the passion and drive to become an inspirational Science teacher during your NQT Year.
About the NQT Science Teacher position
As an NQT Science Teacher your role will involve teaching across all ability levels and the option of teaching A 'level Science is available for suitable teachers. You will join an outstanding Science faculty and you will be given an experienced mentor during your induction year. As an NQT you will join a school that develop their staff by providing support and training and a good environment in which to work. As a result they are proud of their low staff turnover rate.
The Science Department
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher of science to join our very strong department. The department consists of 11 teaching staff and 2 technicians in newly refurbished science labs. Science is hugely popular at KS5 across all three disciplines with nearly 200 taking these at AS/A2 level. The appointed candidate will teach KS3 - KS5 and across all ability ranges.
