Position: Science Teacher

Location: Preston

Job-type: Full-time

A secondary school located in Preston are searching for a Science Teacher for a long-term role, commencing September 2022 or as soon as possible should the candidate not be available for an immediate September start. The successful Science Teacher will mainly be teachig KS3/4 Physics but all specialisms will be considered. 

You will be enthusiastic, creative and inspiring, ensuring students of all learning abilities are engaged thoroughly in this subject. You will plan and prepare interactive lessons, differentiating each lesson to encourage students to take part and excel. You will join a fast-paced and resourceful team, with a solid Science department. You will share the same passion for teaching, driving all students to achieve their maximum potential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • Be confident in teaching students of all learning abilities
  • Have Science teaching experience
  • Be able to create strong and trusting relationships with students, staff and parents/carers
  • Work productively as part of a school team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
