Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a supportive school to advance your career?

If you are, Create Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed MFL teacher to teach both French and German at KS4 and KS4 level. This is a great opportunity join a dynamic school in the spacious suburbs of EnfieldInitially on a one year contract till 31st August 2025, however there is the possibility that this can be extended.

The main purpose of the role is to contribute to achieving the aims and objectives of the curriculum and to develop and teach an effective and stimulating curriculum, to maximise the attainment of the students.

Job Details

  • Is able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge.
  • Has the energy to build on recent GCSE results and will help to drive forward our high-quality post-16 provision.
  • Actively want to develop their teaching qualities.
Job Description 
  • Work within the subject’s schemes of work and contribute to their review and development.
  • Monitor individual student progress by using data and assessment procedures and by giving appropriate feedback to students, parents and line managers.
  • Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and of the tutor group as a whole.
  • Promote the school’s ethos and behaviour management approach.
  • Exploit opportunities to develop students’ skills in ICT, literacy and numeracy and to contribute to students’ personal, spiritual, moral, social, cultural development and awareness.
  • Attend subject and other school meetings and to contribute to departmental and whole school improvement.
