SEN Learning Support Assistant:
The ideal SEN Learning Support Assistant candidate will require a compassionate & patient manner, and prior experience working within a SEN environment, to support pupils on a 1:1, group & class basis, ensuring the academic development and wellbeing of students with an autism diagnosis are met.
This SEN Learning Support Assistant opportunity is ideal for any budding SEN Teachers or Educational / Child Psychologist, looking to build up classroom experience at a thriving SEN school setting.
SEN Learning Support Assistant – The Role:
- Support students with an ASC / autism diagnosis
- Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
- Collaborate with experienced teachers and other LSAs
- Some personal care maybe required
- Complete the schools induction training
SEN Learning Support Assistant – Qualifications required: - Level 3 TA or degree level of education preference
- Education / childcare experience is required
- Previous SEN / ASC experience is desirable
- Calm, compassionate and proactive manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
