SEN Teaching Assistant Forest Gate Full Time ASAP until July 2023
TLTP are currently working with a 'Good' primary school based in Forest Gate (E7), who are looking to recruit an SEN TA to work with a child in Year 4 on a 1:1 basis. This will be for the remainder of the academic year, at least, most likely being extended into the next academic year.
*** SEN TA in Forest Gate
*** Full time role
*** Year 4 Child Male pupil
*** Experienced with SEN required
*** Hours are 8:30am 15:30pm (Wednesdays until 16:30pm as the school provide CPD training which is mandatory)
*** Rate: £11.10 - £13.85p/h
Are you able to engage children in the classroom as well as adding additional concentration and development of learning?
Can you build relationships with the pupils that support the children in the process of learning?
Do you have experience with children with SEN?

SEN Teaching Assistant:
This role would be working 1:1 with a pupil with Downs syndrome, he is non-verbal and struggles with mobility (Wheelchair user lifts available in the school).
The school is based in the Newham borough and provides education to children from the ages of 3-11. This school hosts a motivating and work driven environment that flows throughout the staffing team and students alike. This positive atmosphere offers children a more engaging and positive outlook on education, promoting learning of the highest standard.
The school is under a 10-minute walk from the nearest station (Forest Gate), as well as offering on-site parking for drivers.
The school are looking for an experienced, adaptive, and positive teaching assistant that can assist and communicate in the learning of students, as well as bonding with children to create healthy relationships to assist children in the process of learning.
