Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to work in a primary school in Bexleyheath.

The school is looking for an enthusiastic, patient, and supportive individual who can work one-to-one with children who have special educational needs. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment, adapting learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils and providing academic and emotional support to pupils who need it.

Key Responsibilities:

* To work closely with pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD and behaviour challenges, to support their learning and emotional wellbeing.

* To provide targeted support in the classroom, ensuring pupils have access to the curriculum and can achieve their full potential.

* To work with teachers to plan and deliver individualised learning programmes that meet the needs of individual pupils.

* To manage challenging behaviour in a calm, positive and consistent manner.

* To liaise with parents, carers and external professionals, as required, to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Requirements:

* Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, with specific experience working with SEN children, including Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour.

* A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

* A calm, patient and empathetic approach.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
