Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant for our partner school, a College specialist school in the Edgware area. The position will be working predominately with children 16-21 year old pupils who have verity of Special Education Needs. Your role will be supporting with children with Special educational needs and to engage and interact with the children to enable them to be able to access to curriculum fully. The role will entail leading a small class of SEN pupils reaching learning targets and there will be daily planning involved.

The pupils are on the spectrum and have sensory requirements. The classes are smaller than mainstream and you’ll have the support of 2/3 TAs to assist in class for various pupils. The College are looking for someone who is confident, organised, who can use their own initiative to pick up from the hand over and take responsibility in leading the class, teaching assistants and meet pupil development targets.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
