Do you have experience supporting children in mainstream with Special Educational Needs? Are you seeking a challenging, yet rewarding new opportunity?

Teaching Personnel Plymouth is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Plymouth. This role is a full time and will begin on 2nd November 2020. The successful candidate will be supporting a primary student on a 1:1 basis.

 The ideal candidates for this provision will have:

  • Experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties in schools
  • Confidence and resilience to support challenging behaviour

About the SEN TA Role:

The student you will be supporting is in KS2 in a mainstream Primary school. Your role as an SEN Teaching Assistant will be to support the students day to day learning, helping them settle when needed and supporting their particular needs. You will be expected to provide in class support and also 1:1 intervention sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
