SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant required for large Oldham based secondary school
Are you experienced in the field of SEN and wish to utilise your skills and knowledge to support identified pupils in a mainstream secondary school?
Are you seeking a full-time support position, commencing with immediate effect that will provide you will invaluable experiences to enhance a future teacher training application?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large mixed comprehensive secondary school in Oldham. Due to an increase in pupils requiring additional support this academic year, the school wish to expand their support department and appoint a full time SEN Teaching Assistant at the earliest convenience for the remainder of the academic year.
This SEN Teaching Assistant position will involve supporting identified pupils with daily school life, working with the SEN Co-Ordinator and Inclusion Manager to implement strategies to improve behaviour, monitor progress and promote inclusion of all pupils throughout school and to record any significant improvements in students with EHCP’s.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
