Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to fill a full time role in a single form entry primary school located in Norwich. This role would be starting in May and would involve working with a KS2 pupil with ASC on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day.
· Supporting a year 6 pupil with ASC and mild challenging behaviour
· You will work with the Teacher to plan and deliver bespoke 1:1 intervention sessions to raise attainment to age-related expectations.
· Be responsible for the pupils behaviour in class and take them out to the nurture room if necessary.
· Liaise with the Teacher, SENDCO and parents to report progress.
