Exciting opportunity to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs within a secondary school.

  • Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Required ASAP on a long-term basis.
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis with Special Educational Needs.
  • Secondary school in Bolton.
  • Earn up to £1450 per month.

Our client school has recently been refurbished with modern facilities including a brand-new SEN department. This provision has been incorporated into the school for identified pupils who require support away from the mainstream school setting. The incoming teaching assistant will be helping to plan activities for pupils at various levels of learning ability alongside the class teacher. The TA will be expected to provide 1:1 and small group support for identified pupils within the provision.

Application Requirements

  • Must have some form of experience with pupils who have SEN.
  • Any specific experience supporting young people with Autism is desirable.

Our client school is located near the centre of Bolton and is easily accessible via the M61 and A58 from surrounding areas such as Bury and Worsley. Our client school is also accessible via public transport from the surrounding areas of Bolton including Westhoughton, Little Hulton and Horwich.
