An opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant has become available at one of our client secondary schools in Bolton.

This opportunity is ideal for anyone who has previous experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will be expected to work alongside students who require additional support with learning, due to them having SEN including ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia.

Job role:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • Full time position.
  • Mainstream Secondary school.
  • Working with identified students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
  • Earn up to £350 per week

The successful candidate will have further responsibilities including supporting the class teacher and delivering pre-planned intervention sessions to suit specific SEN. With over 900 pupils, the school is in need of extra staff to guarantee these particular students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom.

Due to our client secondary school being located in Bolton, it is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Salford and Wigan via the M60 and M61. For applicants who do not drive, our partner school is also easily accessible via several public transportation links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
