We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children whos primary need is Autism.
A specialist school based in a small village outside of Rochester are looking for a teaching assistant to work with SEN students primary and secondary aged, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30.
The School has a great SLT who care about their staffs wellbeing as well as providing a fun and nuturing enviroment for the students.
Class sizes are up to 10 students with around 2 or 3 Teaching Assistants in each.
The staff team are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. They provide a theraputic enviroment and a theraputic approach for children with SEN.
This is a long term position position to start ASAP.
Teaching Assistant, Healthcare / Nursing experience or experience with Learning Difficulties is essential.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Focus on supporting young children with Special Educational Needs
Working alongside the Class Teacher and a number of other supporting staff.
Start: September 2022
Full-Time - long term - Permanent for the right candidate
