We are hiring for our partnership schools based in and around Bury St. Edmunds!

If you are a SEN Teaching Assistant with previous classroom experience or are looking to gain experience within a SEN schools, we would love to hear from you.

Alternatively, you may have relevant qualifications or come from a carer or support worker background and are looking for a career change!

Full time, part time or flexible working available to suit your needs and requirements.

Typical TA duties include:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups with activities.
  • In some classes, you will be required to do personal care.
  • Help students to and from their parents or taxis in the morning and afternoon to ensure they are supported from the very moment they are in school.
  • Encourage students in their education through being enthusiastic and creative.
  • Complete any relevant training and attend any weekly meetings with staff.

This school is easily accessible by public transport, however being able to drive is desirable.

You will be working – 08:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday, with weekends and holidays off.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
