Protocol Education are looking for a highly motivated individual to help support as a teaching assistant in one of the schools in Luton , Bedfordshire Our client's aim is to make everyone feel welcome and ensure they are treated with respect and are therefore looking for a candidate who can be a positive role model and has a real passion for special needs.

Although no experience is needed, previously working in education, care home or special schools would be ideal .

About the role:
-Supporting children who have learning difficulties including autism , complex needs and social /emotional difficulties
-Daily rate between £65-£75
-Working hours of 8.30-16.00pm for 5 days a week.
-Long term contract till end of academic year.

Specific duties:
-Reporting and evaluating individual student progression.
-Helping children identify and acknowledge socially acceptable patterns of behaviour.
-Work towards building a secure and stable environment for each child to grow.
-Develop home/school relationships towards children and their families.

Requirements:
-Strong team player with relevant experience of working in a childcare/support working setting.
-Passionate about working in special needs and confidence in helping students work at their full potential.
-Be able to provide a valid DBS on the update system.
