Speech and Language Therapist Expiring soon

We are working with a school that are looking to recruit a Speech and Language Therapist from September.

You will be responsible of the SALT output across the school and oversee a NQP SALT and experienced SALT Assistant.

Working within a close-knit multi-disciplinary team and other therapy professionals, you will play a key role in the development of their students from early years through to school leaver age, watching them grow and achieve their education milestones.  As well as working with the school, you will also have the opportunity to use your expertise with the people they support in adult services at their 7 residential homes and within their community packages. You will receive direct support from the Therapy Lead & Behaviour Specialist as your line manager.

The school is a specialised and caring setting for children with autism. They are proud to have over 80 students currently and they are growing fast. 

The role is full of variety as you will also contribute to the training and developing the knowledge of their support staff, as well as provide external training to parents and other professionals.

There is the possibility that this role could be a job share for two part time candidates.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
