Speech and Language Therapist - The Role    
     
TLTP require an Speech and Language Therapist Specialist to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team (including OTs, ASD leads, Canine and Music Therapists) to support learners in accessing all aspects of the curriculum, as well as liaising with parents/carers and other external professionals and agencies. You will work closely with teaching staff, helping to integrate therapy and learning objectives, as well as instructing and supporting teaching staff in delivering therapy programmes and use of specialised equipment. You will also deliver training to other staff.    
     
Speech and Language Therapist - The School    
     
This is a non-selective school in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, with a mainstream curriculum catering for children in years 3 – 13. They provide the necessary support to access this curriculum for pupils who need specialist input within school because of a specific educational need – such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, speech and language needs or an autistic spectrum condition.. Their creative approach and performing arts specialism helps every autistic child to learn and develop.  All their students have autism and associated social communication, cognitive, sensory, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. They come under the broad description of 'Severe Learning Difficulties' (SLD)
