An exciting opportunity within a large secondary school in Bolton to support pupils aged 11-16 within the PE department.

The successful applicant will be expected to work alongside senior members of staff within the PE department and support teachers with monitoring and evaluating pupils’ attainment. With all work being pre-set, in the absence of the class teacher the incoming Sports Coach may sometimes be required to supervise lessons.

  • Full time Sports Coach role.
  • Required to start November 2021.
  • Earn up to £350 per week, depending on your previous experience.
  • Supporting pupils aged 11-16 within PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Due to a member of staff suffering a long-term injury, our client school require an instructor to join the PE department as soon as possible.

Our client school have specifically requested that applicants have sports coaching experience as these skills will be highly transferrable for this role.  The incoming candidate must have some form of sports related experience with children or young people are necessary. This role is ideal for recent graduates considering a role in PE teaching in the future.

Located in Bolton, our client secondary school can easily be accessed via the M61 and the A58 from the surrounding areas. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from areas such as Bury, Worsley and Westhoughton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
