Do you have experience working with vulnerable young people? Is your passion to make a real difference in the lives of the next generation? If so, Teaching Personnel need you to join our client school to work with selected students who have additional needs.

This is a long-term ongoing position, and a permanent post is on offer for the right candidate. The school is situated in Salford and a Oftsed rated ‘Good’ school.

The selected SEMH Support Assistant will work with the most vulnerable students in the school who come from disadvantaged backgrounds and deal mental-ill health. Pupils may suffer from anxiety, depression and low self-eestem which massively impacts their education. Your duty will be to work 1-2-1 with these students to provide dedicated emotional and academic support.

  • SEMH Support Worker (1-2-1 and small group support across both KS3/4)
  • Secondary school based in Salford, Greater Manchester
  • Full time, long-term post
  • Competitive rates of pay starting from £10.20 per hour
