About the school:
A mixed-gender residential school for students aged 7-19 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, and associated difficulties.
Drawing upon their proven expertise in specialist education and 24-hour care, they focus on the development of personal, social, communication and living skills. A multi-disciplinary team and high staff ratios ensure intensive individual support.
About the role:
Your role will involve working in the residential homes, with some classroom work involved. On weekends, you will assist the young people on outings to the local area as well as various planned activities.
We have a mixture of shifts available, either days or nights, with he majority of shifts being 12 hours e.g. 8am-8pm, or 8pm-8am.
Who are we looking for:
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience supporting children or adults with special needs. If you do not have experience but have a confident and compassionate personality with a willingness to learn, then you will be considered.
There will be personal care involved, so its important you are comfortable with this.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
