About the role

As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the subject ignites interest and captures engagement. Students should have access to innovative, relevant and enjoyable lessons in a motivating learning environment. The school are seeking to recruit a specialist who is able to carefully plan the Pyhsics curriculum that develops effective, independent learning where every child has opportunity to reach their full potential. You should be forward thinking, ambitious and be keen to make a positive impact on the school and students. For the right candidate there is opportunity to take on a TLR, leading the subject and supporting colleagues in other schools who fall within their academy trust.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy.
  • Be passionate about Physics, and a driven interest to want to teach others.
  • Be confident to support the teaching and learning of students aged 11-19
  • Be a committed professional seeking to develop and train as a teacher.
  • Will have some experience in working with young people.
