LKS2 Teaching Assistant Read, Write Inc. Phonics (Previous experience/training preferable) 1:1 and Small Group Intervention - Working in a "reading bubble" Primary School, based in Rochdale (OL16) - Easily accessible by public transport. Full-time (negotiable) Start date ASAP and Onwards - up to February half-term A client primary school in the Rochdale area (OL16) are looking for an passionate and devoted Teaching Assistant to join their hard working staffing team. The successful applicant will work with Year 3 and 4 supporting lower ability children with Read, Write Inc phonics interventions. The appointed teaching assistant will be responsible for looking after the well being of the children in their care, whilst gaining constant support from the school KS2 Co-ordinator/Reading Lead and senior leadership team. You will need to be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team. The school is roughly 5 minutes from Rochdale town centre via Kingsway and borders the areas of Littleborough, easily reached via the M62 and public transport routes. The school are looking to short list for this position as soon as possible.
