Teaching personnel are working in a partnership with a client primary school in Middleton (M24), the senior leaders are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children with Behavioural needs in KS2 specifically focusing in Year 6.

The school is a larger than average two form entry which is situated in the heart of Middleton (M24) and serves a diverse area with children coming from a range of backgrounds. The school prides itself on promoting a welcoming environment to all individuals and has an excellent staffing team with a well experienced senior leadership team.

The role will be to support children across upper Key Stage 2, specifically focusing on working with a group of children in Year 6, which have behavioural issues and need extra support to keep them engaged on the run up to the end of the academic year.

Requirements for this teaching assistant role include:

-          Previous classroom-based experience (paid or voluntary)

-          Suitable qualifications (level 1 or above) as a TA or a related degree

-          Knowledge of safeguarding and primary school procedures

-          A caring personal nature to support a with SEN

-          Full time availability to work in a specified role, initially on an agency basis.
