Opportunity to supporting pupils aged 11-16 who have Special Educational Needs and require additional guidance to reach their full potential academically.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant.
  • Required to start in November 2021 – Start date to be confirmed.
  • Competitive rates of pay – up to £1450 per month.


  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs, specifically Autism.
  • Mentor and provide support for students on a 1:1 basis within the classroom.
  • Assigned to work with identified pupils – ensuring they attend the correct lessons on their timetable.
  • Deliver interventions suited to pupils’ needs.
  • Monitor and assess the students’ attainment and behaviour and report this back to the SENCO to ensure relevant action can be taken if required.

Application requirements:

  • Experience supporting young people previously within an educational or care setting.
  • Any personal or professional experience with Autism is desirable.

Our client school has been recently refurbished and has added an ASC provision to their new building. The school is in Salford and can be accessed via the M61, M602 and A580 from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester for those who have their own transportation. For non-drivers, there are several forms of public transport with links to areas such as Bolton, Leigh and central Manchester.
