Teaching Personnel are actively looking for candidates who have experience working with young people who have SEMH needs. We are working alongside a Secondary Provision in the Morpeth area (NE61) who are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant, to work with their pupils aged between 11-16. 

You will need to be available Full time (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday to Friday). 

The potential candidate will work closely with a team of professionals to provide tailored and specific support for young people who have additional requirements in either Academic or Communicative development. A large part of this role is relationship and stability building for the young person. For this position, successful candidates will be working on a 1:1 basis, or operate as a General Classroom Assistant.

Candidates that have been successful within this setting have had some experience in any of the following:

  • Sports Coaching
  • Ex - Forces
  • Challenging Behaviour Settings
  • Health and Social Care Settings
  • 1:1 Support
  • SEN TA
