Location: Colne, Lancashire

Full-time, temporary to permanent contract: 8:30am – 15:30pm

Start date: October 2022

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge! We also want to hear from graduates and those with a background in Health & Social Care.

Our school are looking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to support us on a full-time basis. This will be a temporary to permanent position for the right fit.

The college’s focus on learning is the driving force behind everything that we do and students are offered a diverse and challenging curriculum both inside and outside the classroom. Your Role:

-          To provide specialist support to students with barriers to learning on a small group or 1:1 basis small group basis.

-          To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom.

-          To promote independence and employ strategies to recognise and reward achievement and self-reliance.

-          To provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement.
