Teaching Personnel are currently looking for Teaching and Support assistants to work within primary Schools in Bradford and the surrounding area. Working closely with schools in the Bradford and Calderdale region, we have various opportunities for long- and short-term roles.

This is great opportunity to gain invaluable classroom experience whilst assisting, enabling you to build a strong reputation as a reliable teaching assistant.

Experience providing 1-1 intervention support and implementing behaviour management policies effectively is favourable. Not all, but a few of our Teaching Assistant positions require the ability to assist with basic SEN requirements, so experience of working with SEN students is also a beneficial bonus.

Role Requirements

  • Is a qualified/experienced Teaching Assistant
  • Flexible availability
  • Experience working within KS1 or KS2
  • Has a DBS check registered on the update service? If not is willing to apply for this
  • Demonstrates excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills
  • Is forward thinking
  • Has the ability to support the class teacher with students’ behaviour in an empathetic and calm manner
  • Can work well alongside other colleagues such as class teachers to create a positive learning environment
  • Knowledge of the KS1/2 curriculum to support educational progression
