We are looking for confident and creative teachers to provide bespoke 1:1 tuition to Primary and Secondary aged pupils in the Fareham & Gosport area. Tuition will be predominantly for pupils who are not currently accessing education and most of the young people we work with will have varied SEN & SEMH needs.

You will play an important part in successfully reintegrating pupils back into school, closing gaps in their knowledge, as well as accelerating progress. You are able to accept as much or as little work as you desire and this role is ideal for those seeking flexibility. 

The Role:

  • Plan and deliver individualised tuition sessions based around the pupils' needs and ability levels
  • Deliver 1:1 tuition within the home environment
  • Support a range of ages and abilities (KS1-KS4)
  • Tailor your support to accelerate progress and build pupil resilience

Requirements:

  • Hold a QTS/PGCE Certificate
  • Proven subject knowledge of the National Curriculum, namely English & Maths
  • Flexibility to adjust your approach to cater to each pupils’ individual needs
  • Endless enthusiasm & patience
  • Awareness of safeguarding protocols

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
