An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Teacher (with a UK QTS) to join KS2 in a Catholic Primary school in Cardiff to start May 2021.

The role will be full time ongoing covering a Y6 class for the rest of the academic year.

  • Enthusiasm and a commitment to professional development.
  • Total dedication to the inclusion of all pupils.
  • Has strong behaviour management.
  • High aspirations for developing pupil participation in the planning process of learning via a practical, hands-on, real life skills-based curriculum.
  • A clear understanding of skills-based curriculum, in particular the Literacy and Numeracy Framework.
  • The ability to teach Welsh as a second language.
  • The ability to contribute to the development and improvement of the school as a whole.
  • An understanding of teaching children with English as an additional language.
  • The ability to develop children to be reflective learners.
  • A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
