£65.00-£80.00 per day

 

 

 

Smile Education is working in partnership with a long-standing client school that is seeking to appoint a qualified and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work alongside the class teacher by providing general support with the daily running of the classroom. This will include overseeing the learning and development of pupils with additional learning needs, by hosting small reading and writing intervention groups.

 

This role is available to start as soon as possible and can lead to a permanent placement for the right candidate.

 

The Working Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30-3.30. There may be the odd occasion where you will be required to attend staff meeting till 4/4.30

As a year 5 Teaching Assistant, we expect the following:

 

 • Experience working within schools

 

 • Confident supporting in KS2

 

 • Provide quality support to teachers and pupils

 

 • Be able to carry out small group work with individuals under the teachers planning provided

 

 • High aspirations for their pupils and themselves

 

 • Positive impact on children and be creative and inspiring

 

 • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
